Our artisans start with palmyra palm leaves, harvested sustainably and sun-dried to remove moisture while preserving strength. The midrib is carefully removed, and the leaves are cut into fine strips – some dyed in boiling water baths for rich, lasting colours before being dried again.
Weaving into form:
These strips become the canvas for traditional weaves: diagonal checks, cross-hatch patterns and graphic motifs.
